Does your hardware startup have legs?
Find out in this two-week hardware hackathon sprint at South London's best makerspace.
Blue Garage Innovation Hub, London SE13 7HA
So we decided to organise one.
We wanted to create an opportunity for people with existing early stage hardware startups to connect with talented builders. Or even if you have a cool idea you've been putting off for ages, this is the perfect opportunity to explore it.
Blue Garage is London's best hackspace not affiliated with a university. For two weeks, it's yours.
Hot desking and full access to manufacturing facilities at Blue Garage for the entire sprint.
Basic electronic components provided from day one, so you can start building immediately.
Each team receives a budget of up to £200 to source whatever you need to bring your idea to life.
Ideas are selected and builders are matched with founders to form balanced teams.
Two weeks of building with full access to the space, facilities, components, and your budget.
Top teams win free office and desk space at Blue Garage, giving you a home to turn your prototype into a real product.
Not just electronics. Mechanical, fabric, 3D printed, welded, woven. Anything physical is a valid hardware solution. If it isn't purely software, it counts.
Blue Garage is London's best hackspace not affiliated with a university. The space has everything you need to build physical prototypes from scratch.
Rapid prototyping for enclosures, mounts, fixtures, and custom parts.
Full workshop for fabrication and mechanical builds, plus more.
Soldering, oscilloscopes, bench power supplies, and component storage.
6th - 19th April 2026 at Blue Garage Innovation Hub, London SE13 7HA.
